Early on, Krista Kleiner learned a life-changing lesson from her parents: we can touch and transform the lives of others through acts of kindness and compassion.
Born and raised in California, Krista had the opportunity to accompany her mother to a children’s hospital in her homeland of the Philippines at the tender age of 6. Seeing the resilience and courage of countless children living in poverty, Krista was inspired to grow as a humanitarian, philanthropist and changemaker. Fueled by her mother’s love of teaching and appreciation for the arts, as well as her father’s lifelong commitment to fighting harassment and discrimination, Krista set out to make a difference in the world.
A published author on leadership, followership, and preventing harassment and discrimination at the workplace since the age of 16, Krista continues to use her voice as a force of good. Her reach quickly expanded after winning the Miss Philippines International title in 2010.
Creatively bridging culture and community, media and entertainment, philanthropy and advocacy, Krista tells people’s stories through her writing, TV hosting and public speaking as a way to foster understanding and compassion. Her talents, drive and passion have made her uniquely effective in a range of influential roles including being spokesperson for nonprofit organizations such as the National Diversity Coalition, National Asian American Coalition, Asian World Film Festival, Miss Philippines Charities, The Philippines Foundation, Club 42, The Red Whistle Campaign and more.
Krista founded The One Heart Movement to help heal the deepening divide in society and to bring people together through our shared humanity.

Feelings don’t always make sense. But they sure know how to make a mess. And so much of the stuff designed to help us work them out is exactly that: work. It’s all about digging in, when sometimes what we need is to just let go for a minute. PeaceLove is here to make your journey to peace of mind a little more fun. With PeaceLove, you don’t need words. Or gurus. Or demanding routines. Because we release stress and worry with markers and paper and glue. PeaceLove is a nonprofit organization that offers simple creative activities to help get out what you’re feeling, even if you have no idea what it is yet. You’ll doodle out your feelings to make room for some different ones. And that thing you make? It’s not about the product, it’s about the process. You can put it on your mantle, or throw it in the recycling bin. Because the magic’s in the making. The true work of art is what you create on the inside.

The Middle Branch is on a mission to teach the benefits of meditation, fitness, and diet, and how these can be used to help heal the mind and body. Whether affected by emotional or mental difficulties, or physical dysfunction, you can give your mind and body the optimal avenues to heal by not obstructing their natural processes, by giving them a strong foundation to do their job.
While considering the popular concept of mindfulness, Eric Mellgren (founder of The Middle Branch) recognizes that it must apply to each of us in every aspect, not just as an extension of meditation, but awareness in our physical fitness and diet, as well. As a result, he came to the conclusion that the idea of being mindful stands for something new and unique – MNDFL stands for something more:
Meditation + Natural Healing + Diet + Fitness = Lifestyle
MNDFL is an equation and a method. By following this method you give back to yourself in ways that build the foundation of healing and happiness
