Her voice was amplified after winning the Miss Philippines International title in 2010 and joining international balladeer Julio Iglesias on a world tour, leading her to become a spokesperson for numerous organizations and causes. In 2021, she was honored as a Cultural Ambassador to the Philippines by the embassy in Washington, D.C..

She had her first experience in the carbon market in 2004 in Europe - where she lived for over a decade during the first stage of the Kyoto Protocol, and since then has been developing projects, and negotiating carbon credits and other environmental assets.
